Perhaps people just do not like his policies and brand of politics
Last week, President Obama signed historic health care reform legislation into law — but his legislative success doesn’t seem to have helped his image with the American public.
The latest CBS News Poll, conducted between March 29 and April 1, found Americans unhappier than ever with Mr. Obama’s handling of health care – and still worried about the state of the economy.
President Obama’s overall job approval rating has fallen to an all-time low of 44 percent, down five points from late March, just before the health bill’s passage in the House of Representatives. It’s down 24 points since his all-time high last April. Forty-one percent of those polled said they disapproved of the president’s performance.
The full details of the poll are going to be released during the cBS Evening News with Katie Couric. Yes, believe it or not, she is still doing that gig.
When it comes to health care, the President’s approval rating is even lower — and is also a new all-time low. Only 34 percent approved, while 55 percent said they disapproved.
I guess we had to pass the bill to find out how much people detested the way Obama got it passed.
Just 42 percent said they approved of how President Obama is handling the economy, only one point above January’s all-time low. Half of the public disapproves.
Remember when the economy was going to be job #1? Then they went straight back to healthcare. And even with it passed, Obama is still ignoring the economy, other than Blaming Bush and lying about what he Himself has done. Like this
In visiting Celgard, Obama sought to highlight the effectiveness of his economic policies. With help from the administration’s stimulus package, the company is not only hiring new workers but also expanding its operations making batteries that run more fuel-efficient cars.
“Before I took office, we had the capacity to make less than 2 percent of the world’s lithium-ion batteries,” Obama said. “In the next five years, on the trajectory we’re now on, we’re going to be able to make 40 percent of the batteries right here in the United States of America.”
That, he said, is an argument for the stimulus package. “Next time somebody asks you at the grocery store, ‘What did the recovery act do?’ you can tell them one of the things it helped do is expand . . . an entire industry.”
There’s only one problem, chump
When President Barack Obama comes to Charlotte today to tour Celgard, a battery-parts maker that has received $49 million in stimulus money, he’s sure to tout how government money will put people to work.
He’s visiting a company that hasn’t yet spent any of its stimulus money, according to federal documents. But his visit highlights the administration’s focus on using stimulus funds to create green jobs and push energy efficiency.
So, he is taking credit for something that hasn’t even happened yet.
Sister Toldjah has the gag inducing video of his visit to Charlotte.

I have to wonder if BHO realizes how unpopular he has become. In any case, he clearly doesn’t outwardly show that he’s not “the one” any longer.

That’s only because the US is a country of racist, homophobes that eats puppies.
Polls go up and down. RealClearPOlitics gives an average of the best pollsters and this is the number that all major betting books like Intrade use. That average has shown that his numbers haven’t changed much since December. And his current numbers are TWICE those of the last guy we had. Americans LOVE Obama compared to him
Rasmussen’s polls are consistently the most accurate in my opinion. He nailed thee previous (2) presidential elections and all the major off year elections this year (VA & NJ gubernatorial races and the NY and MA senate races). As soon as he flops as Gallup, Pollster, and MSNBC I’ll consider someone else, but until them Rasmussen is da man!
Is this the Only article ‘lil lying johnny is going to comment upon? And he has to LIE about it, to boot?
