Democrats “Climate Change Hoax Is Real” Amendment Goes Down

Yes, climate change happens. Natural climate change. Always has and always will. But, that doesn’t stop Democrats from “acting stupidly”

The House rejected a Democratic amendment Wednesday that would have put the chamber on record backing the widely held scientific view that global warming is occurring and humans are a major cause.

Lawmakers voted 184-240 against Rep. Henry Waxman’s (D-Calif.) amendment to a GOP-led bill that would strip the Environmental Protection Agency’s power to regulate greenhouse gases.

The amendment from Waxman — the top Democrat on the Energy and Commerce Committee — reflects Democratic efforts to cast the bill as an outrageous trampling of scientific consensus.

Of course, science is not about consensus. It’s about, well, science. Consensus is about politics, which is why I tend to focus on the political aspects of the climate change hoax.

Funny how Democrats weren’t worried about “consensus” when the American people tell them not to pass Stimulus, not to pass Obamacare, and not to spend so much. And they aren’t worried about consensus when it comes to repealing Obamacare, reducing the debt and deficit, and not spending so damned much.

    The Democrats are communists. They are trying to Cloward and Piven the USA into Bankruptcy.

    Democrats actually believe that we are hiding the money from them. They actually believe that if they TAKE all my money it will end the problem.

    The Communists in 1918 Russia believed the same thing. So they took all the wealth and then languished in Poverty for 70 years before collapsing under their own stupidity.

    *900 billion in INCOME TAXES are anticipated in 2012. Double that……raise everyones rate to 72 percent……..

    1.65 trillion minus the 900 billion that doubling taxes gets us is still….

    uh….

    750 Billion short of paying our bills and they want to cut 10 billion and pretend they are compromising.

    Democrats…….I would call them HOPIUMS.
