Global Warming Causes Britain To Suffer Cold Summer

This is why they call it “climate change”, so that everything can be blamed on man’s release of greenhouse gases

As Britons return to work today after a soggy Bank Holiday weekend, official weather data reveals that average temperatures were significantly down on recent years.

The UK’s average temperature from June 1 to August 15 was only 57F (13.9C) – the lowest for 13 years.

For central England the average was 59F (15C), making it the coolest summer since 1993.

Helen Waite, a Met Office forecaster, said: “The average temperature for central England this summer has been just 15C – this sort of temperature is normally typical of September.

“Generally speaking, you would expect to see temperatures of at least 17C for this time of year.”

Waiting for the “but, it’s just weather, unlike Hurricane Irene and the Virginia earthquake, which are climate change” talking points from alarmists in 3…2…1….

I’m waiting for them to say that the hotter tropics and the cooler UK region will DRIVE more hurricanes and make them stronger and last longer due to the increased temperature flux.

The AGW crowd is trying to make the switch slowly…….

REEDUCATION of the masses………….ALL weather is the result of a warming planet. Everything that happens is a result of mankind producing 3.4 percent of all CO2 entering the atmosphere.

    IF

WE just illiminate 1 percent of this co2 by cutting our output by 40 percent and destroying economies in the process we will…..

    SAVE THE PLANET.

This is an alinsky trick….they simply are now in the reeducating mode as their old LIES were exposed so now they have to retrench and retool for another run at the children.

So the battle is starting over…..but they have not given up….neither should we. Teach your children, grandchildren the truth.

The AGW battle was fought, the AGW side is retreating but the WAR is far from over.

Global warming has been a big issue and the major problem is that it is extremely difficult for the world leaders to devise appropriate solutions and allocate responsibility for them. This means that developed nations believe that the developing countries are more responsible for causing global warming, and so more obligated to cut emissions and solve the problem. However, the other side tries to defend itself and thus a vicious circle is created and.

  5. Well, it’s really difficult for the world leaders to devise a plan when the issue is mostly fake.

Teach, you beat me to it.

Peter, you have to have something that is true before there is a point in debating.

While no one disputes that the world warms, there are those on the other side of you Peter that believes the world also cools. This other side also believes that there have been times in recent and long past that our world has been MUCH MUCH colder. And, I will even conceded something with you, Peter. There have also been times when this world has been MUCH MUCH HOTTER. Therefore, there is such a thing as Global Warming. But, if you agree with that, you have to agree with Global Cooling.

And, if you can agree with these two principles of nature, then you have to believe that many of these hot and cold period occurred before “modern man” and even before the technological revolution began.

If you are going to begin to demand action by man, there has to be a man-caused result that can be clearly defined first.

    Can you do that?

My co-worker is a Brit, and every year his wife tells me that they can’t bring much in the way of summer clothes when they visit his family in August! I don’t think Britain is suffering that much cooler a summer, but even if it is, we’ve had cooler years here as well, and hotter ones too- as Captain points out. I also believe that the climate changes all over the world, and believe it will happen again and again and forever. I just can’t believe it is entirely Man’s fault (or Bush’s) as much as the way the world works; or that anything we could do would make significant changes that would do anything for the environment. But it sure would cripple economies.
