Remember, one park ranger told the Washington Times that “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can”. We’ve seen this time and time again during Shutdown Theater. Now, the Obama/Holder highly politicized, partisan, and unequal justice DOJ goes a step further
(NBC LA) Instead of showing critical missing children bulletins, the federal Amber Alert website on Sunday displayed a sparse, white screen with a simple message: It’s a victim of the government shutdown.
“Due to the lapse in federal funding, this Office of Justice Programs (OJP) website is unavailable,” the message reads, just below a U.S. Department of Justice seal.
The website normally displays urgent alerts from across the nation about the most at-risk missing children, helping to connect citizens and law enforcement across all participating jurisdictions.
The website is still showing that message. The picture is a screen-cap I took at 8:15 Monday morning. Only 17% of the federal government is actually in shutdown, yet Obama/Holder can’t find someone to run the website. Or just leave it running. It costs almost the same to leave the site running with that message. They’re playing a disgusting game. Which shouldn’t surprise anyone. But one which the media would excoriate a Republican President.
More: Twitchy reports that Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!!!!1!!!” website is still operational. As Ed Morrissey notes “priorities”.

More: someone in either the Spite House or DOJ decided that having the website down was really, really bad optics, and it has been restored
Crossed at Right Wing News and Stop The ACLU.
So the House Republicans shut down part of the Federal gov’t to force the President to agree to repealing the ACA, but they don’t want the shutdown to affect any government services, other than depriving poor people of food stamps.
Who are the 8% of Americans who think Congress is doing a good job? Relatives?
Go away John.
I love this on the AmberAlert website:
In other words, “this official DOJ website does not imply endorsement by DOJ nor does it carry the official recommendation by DOJ on this official DOJ website.
