Shutdown Theater: Man Fined For Jogging At National Park

Perhaps someone could remind Obama and the Spite House exactly who owns these parks (via Jammie Wearing Fools)

(Philly.com) A marathoner says he was fined $100 for running in Valley Forge National Historical Park during the government shutdown.

John Bell, 56, said he parked his car on Sunday in a remote parking lot, not one blocked by a barrier. Bell, of Chadds Ford, said two rangers were waiting with their car lights flashing when he returned.

Bell said he plans to fight the ticket in federal court. He said he saw many other runners and bikers in the park.

Maine’s Acadia National Park had trouble keeping visitors out during the shutdown and was issuing fines to campers, bikers and hikers. On Saturday, 16 hikers hopped a gate to gain entry to Utah’s closed Zion National Park to protest the shutdown.

Jogging. Yet, it took weeks and months for government to do anything about the Occupy Wall St. crowd, even with all the rapes, murders, stabbings, pooping on police cars and doorsteps, drug use, destruction of public and private property, etc. Yet, somehow, Democrats are backing an illegal alien rally on the National Mall. Which is otherwise closed.

I’m seriously considering going to the Veterans rally in D.C. this Sunday. The only thing that worries me is having to leave my pistol at home. I usually don’t leave home without it.

That’s because DC is the safest city in America, Mike. Dontyaknow.

Teach, Reading that story, I’m starting to think he didn’t get a ticket for running, but got a ticket on his car for his parking. If he was in an area not allowed for parking, then he should have gotten a ticket. But, if they ticketed his car, because they just want to push people out of the parks, and ticketed him for illegal trespass, then that should be mentioned.

Why would the park police wait by the man’s car? How would they know he would return? Would he return? If the parking lot was not being blocked, why would the cops be in the area and then stop at HIS car and wait for him?

Like the Chad Henderson ObamaCare story… something sounds fishy.
