Rather a bit heavy on the terrorism in the world today, rather than my normal Hotcoldwetdry schtick. Headline is directly from the Jerusalem Post
Islamic State has set its sights on taking over Libya as a bridgehead to eventually waging war all across southern Europe, the British Telegraph is reporting on Wednesday.
The newspaper cited letters written by ISIS supporters.
According to the report, ISIS jihadists plan to “flood Libya with militiamen from Syria and Iraq, who will then sail across the Mediterranean posing as migrants on people-trafficking vessels.â€
ISIS “would then run amok in southern European cities and also try to attack maritime shipping,†the Telegraph reported.
Pretty big aspirations for the “JV team”, eh?
Likely from a reporter who spent the day in a bar instead of reporting. I often wonder how they get so much insite into the inner plans of ISIS, but can’t track down their head leaders.
Teach are you nuts ??? Do you envision ISIS swimming. To Italy ?
ISIS isn’t even in control of Libya
Stop spreading pro ISIS propaganda
The next thing will be hearing from you is that ISIS is getting ready to attack Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard
Can you even read what is written john? Do you have any comprehension level above that of a 2 year old?
Being that this isn’t Teach’s plan or reporting, your question only shows how ignorant you are of the subject matter.
Hence the statement from the cited article and the British Telegraph which reads:
“Islamic State militants are planning a takeover of Libya as a “gateway” to wage war across the whole of southern Europe, letters written by the group’s supporters have revealed.”
Is it your contention that ISIS is staying put, happy in their little hovels or is ISIS trying to expand their sphere of control and influence?
john, the Navy has a plan in case they do. As you think that the Navy planning for everything means it will come true and they have total belief in that the event will take place, are you saying the Navy is wrong?
John missed where I noted that the headline wasn’t even mine. Oh, and the part about sailing across the MMediterranean. Ships are obviously a notion he’s unfamiliar with.
I have been to these areas. All they have to do is get on one of the numerous ferries that cross the Med every few hours.
