Bush was for more drilling which made the Saudis nervous and lowered the price of crude. More fields in the North Sea also opened up at the same time.
So the price of gas dropped in spite of Obama, not because of him. If you remember Obama’s pick for Energy Secretary wanted to raise gas prices to $5.00 a gallon. Neither he nor Obama gives a rats butt about the people it would have hurt.
