Kerry has continued to show that he doesn’t have what it takes to be President. His knee jerk reactions to anything that may offer the slimmest chance at taking shots at the President are not what a leader does. Kerry blowviates before the facts are in. The “380 missing tons” story is just the latest example.
“George W. Bush who talks tough and brags about making America safer has once again failed to deliver. After being warned about the danger of major stockpiles of explosives in Iraq, this administration failed to guard those stockpiles – where nearly 380 tons of highly explosive weapons were kept. Today we learned that these explosives are missing, unaccounted for and could be in the hands of terrorists.”
He should have waited for the entire story to develop. What seems to be missing is 3 tons. And there is quite a bit of doubt of who moved it and when.
Micromangement of war is a baaaddddd thing. And, I wasn’t aware that the CiC was so involved in the conduct of the War that he would be directing small units.
Kerry talks about almost anything but his pathetic record and actions. He is alienating not only current allies, but a good deal of the US population who support W. Kerry’s constant yammering will not endear him to those people (or me). If he is elected, how can he lead when he has acted in this manner? People will hold grudges. Kerry would have to build trust, and, his policies and actions will not build that trust with the People. Furthermore, I will hypothesize that he would quickly lose the support of a large amount of the people who vote for him. Because, as we all know, they are voting against President Bush, not for John Kerry. Not exactly a recipe for progress. Or trust
