I will be live blogging over at The Command Post tommorrow thru whenever the elections are over, concentrating on the NC races. Will be light through the day over there, then heavier as NC stuff comes in, so I do not expect to do much, if any, on my site. Only so much brain power :) Pop on over there to check out what is happening in your state.
One of my last thoughts on the Presidential race is this: John Kerry said, during the primaries, that “I think the American people want an experienced hand at the helm of state. This is not the time for on-the-job training in the White House on national security issues.”
This applies to both Kerry and Edwards. When you go to the polls tommorrow, folks (if you haven’t already), remember, this isn’t a popularity contest. This is for the position of President of the United States of America, the most powerful position in the world. This is about who will do the best job. It isn’t about seething hatred or unadored love. Vote with your brain, not your feelings. If you truly believe in Kerry, not believe in anybody but Bush, then vote Kerry. But, when you look deep down in your heart of hearts, and see the truth, vote your conscience. When you feel the magnitude of the election ballot, vote
your conscience. You can always tell folks that you voted for the other guy. And your conscience should tell you that Kerry is wrong for America. Vote for Nader or Bednariak, if you must.
PS: if you hear about anything happening, shoot me an email, if you would. I will be more then happy to mention you, if you want.
