Tribe Shoots at Aid Flight

Perhaps it’s the parrots, but this gave me a good chuckle when I read it at the BBC, via Outside the Beltway:

An Indian helicopter dropping food and water over the remote Andaman
and Nicobar Islands has been attacked by tribesmen using bows and
arrows.

There were fears that the endangered tribal groups had been wiped out when massive waves struck their islands.

This is a good thing, I would say. And I admire not only their ability to survive, but their chutzpah :)

Saw that story…sounded like something out of a movie.

Wow! That is so cool! Won’t it be a kick when modern science has to rely on ancient tribal wisdom! Tee Hee
