It’s a horrible thing to have happen. I can see where she would want there to be a reason. The truth is that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time… why the driver didn’t stop, is beyond me.
Unfortunately the controversy makes it harder for the guys doing their jobs and it helps out the bad guys. Anything that will make the guards at the checkpoint hesitate is in the other side’s favor.

Could be. The car looks in better shape for take a “rain of fire” from .50 cal then a Deer Xssing sign that has been hit with one load of buckshot.
Better safe than sorry. This isn’t a bunch of little kids out there playing cops & robbers. This is war and there have been too many fatalities because of overtrust. I am sorry when innocent people lose their life but everyone must obey the rules or suffer the consequences.
