Via Phin’s Blog comes Frank J’s declaration on the howling moonbats at Kevin Drum’s corner of the loonosphere. Now, certainly, those who speculated on the Schiavo memo were partially wrong, as it was written by a Republican Congress critters aide. However, many of the degenerates on the Left have turned this into, surprise! a way to personally attack people. As Phin states
Drum and his band of merry Moon Bats at Political Animal, have displayed a mastery of the English language that can only be picked up by trolling at the Democratic Underground for months. They wonder why the Progressive Party is at an all time low and yet they continue to encourage actions such as these. It’s time the progressive leaders accept responsibility for their actions and stop blaming conservatives.
Drum set the language expectations, set the tone and opened the door the trolls when he ended his post with STFU. ……..
The problem is that the Far Left is slowly becoming the normal Left. Rather then discussion issues in a rational way, the personal attacks blended with shear conspiracy and offbeat and off tangent thinking are the norm. The Howard Dean and George Soros styles will not win any converts to a party that is all feeling and no substance. A party that has no plans.
Then there are the attacks on Michele Malkin. Frank J states
Michelle Malkin had been one putting a lot of pressure to get to the bottom of the Schiavo talking points memo, and, now that it’s been shown to have actually been written by a Republican, the liberals are in a feeding frenzy. While everyone who had been on the issue is taking heat, Malkin seems to get the worst barbs because she’s not only conservative, but she’s also comitted the high crimes of being a minority and a woman (an opinionated one!)
Frank has called for Jihad on The Political Animal, saying that we all go there regularly and kick some verbal ass in the comments section. We’ll be Drum’s moderators since he doesn’t seem to mind the idiocy and filth there. It’s time to call a spade a spade and a muckadoo a muckadoo. The only problem I see with that is that it would just encourage them more. Plus, like the DU, I see our responses being deleted, since most of these folks cannot take honest discussion. But, hey, I’m up for it. Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Who’s with me? Let’s go, go, go, go!
OH puleeze, you guys were all over us about this memo being a Dem hoax…. Powerline was over the top. And now, when it turns out to be a *real* Republican memo, so your face is red. Just put a little salt on the crow and eat quietly. Really.
People are. No problem with that, they should, to a degree, since they were wrong. They admitted it. The memo still wasn’t passed out to all the GOP congress critters, though.
What we have are highly personal and deragatory attacks using disgusting language.
Do you really think Malkin is taking more hits for being a minority woman or just because she was pretty vehement to begin with?
