Dodgers Opening Day

"Hi, I’m Vin Scully, and welcome to sunny Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium, where the Dodgers are finally at home playing their arch rivals, the San Fransisco Giants. The Dodgers opened the season on the road, going 4-2 after opening the season in San Fransisco, then on to Arizona. Today the Dodgers play their first home game of the season with the first of a 2 game home stand against the Barry Bondless Giants. I understand that at least one Giants fan, moehawk, is here with us today, and the Dodgers are looking to send him home unhappy."

"On the mound today we have Jeff Weaver for the Dodgers going against Kirk Reuter of the Giants. Weaver is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in his one start of the year, against San Fran, while Reuter is 0-1, having lost to the Dodgers after giving up 3 hits and 2 earned runs in 5 innings. Moehawk has said Reuter was robbed."

"Well, on to the starting lineups. The Dodgers come out in their traditional home white’s, while the Giants come out in their standard road pink’s. The Giants have added a new twist this year, though, with plunging necklines as well as low rider pants. It looks to be a good game, so now on to the National Anthem. This is Vin Scully, we’ll be right back with the opening ass wooping in just a few minutes."

  5. Way to go SF! That was a lead only the Rockies could blow!

  6. Kent walked, Ledee scored, Izturis to third, Drew to second.
Bradley singled to left, Izturis, Drew and Kent scored on left fielder Ellison´s fielding error.

    9-8 LA. Great game.

  7. I wonder if there are any Padres/D-Backs fans out there blogging. It would sure make for an interesting season in your comments.
