Just to show that I am a redneck, like the Left likes to portray us Southern (always capitalized!) Republicans, two of my favorite sayings are from country songs
-
"What part of no don’t you understand?" by Lori Morgan
-
and "Here’s a quarter, call someone who cares" by Travis Tritt
Welp, I have a great knew favorite: "My give a damn’s busted" by Jo Dee Messina. So perfect. "Don’t you care that Bush stole the election?" "My give a damn’s busted." "Don’t you care that Boooossshhhh is stealing the oil?" "My give a damn’s busted."
Great lyrics.
You can say you’ve got issues.
You can say you’re a victim.
It’s all your parents fault,
After all you didn’t pick em
Well maybe Oprah’s got time to listen.
My give a damn’s busted.snip
My give a damn’s busted (*ha ha)
My give a damn’s busted
Honey trust me
My give a damn’s busted yeahhh …
OOOH
My give a damn’s busted yeahhh
(*You wanna do what?)(*ha ha ha ha ha)
My give a damn’s busted
(*Get the party started thats what we’ll do)
My give a damn’s busted
(*I’m not done honey, trust me)
My give a damn’s busted
(*Been there, done that)
My give a damn’s busted
My give a damn’s busted
When it comes to what moonbats say (not to be confused with the literate and adult Democrats), that shall be my answer: "My give a damn’s busted."
I like it. I like all three of those songs too.

well, it’s not exactly a new one, but Bender’s line “Bite my shiny metal ass” is good, and makes people look at you funny if they don’t watch Adult Swim.
LOL. I like to pull out the Farsworth one “Good news, everyone” at work. Always an ominous sign :)
Teach, I knew there was something about you I liked!! My new favorite saying (since hearing that song) is “my give a damn’s busted.” I think it’s one of those fit all sayings that someone should’ve sang about years ago..good post!! Julie
Thanks, Julie. It is a great saying, and, when used, guarunteed to make people stop immediately in stunned silence :)
