A random thought

Just sitting here, having a Carolina Pale Ale, eating some pork rinds, and a thought hit me. The Lefties always say "we’re better than that (in reference to the USA when things go wrong)." You’re damn right we are, so why not try supporting the USA, for a change, Lefties?

Meanwhile, God does exist:

A 12-year-old girl who was abducted and beaten by men trying to force her into a marriage was found being guarded by three lions who apparently had chased off her captors, a policeman said Tuesday.

She was beaten repeatedly before she was found June 9 by police and relatives on the outskirts of Bita Genet, Wondimu said. She had been guarded by the lions for about half a day, he said.

"They stood guard until we found her and then they just left her like a gift and went back into the forest," Wondimu said.

Are you serious? That is amazing.

On another “miracle” related topic; about that boy beind found alive in Utah. I am certainly happy and glad he was OK and the parents were saying it was because of prayer and God; which I can’t agree with but my first thought after that went out to the family of Natalee Holloway still missing in Aruba. What do you tell her parents about God? Anyway, deep questions and whatever. I hope they find her soon.

Also, I had a question. I heard on the news the other day that Bush can appoint Bolton to his UN seat when Congress goes on recess for the 4th of July. Is that true?

oh and also some dumba$$es down here in Alabama are boycotting Aruba. There is some radio host asking every one to cancel their trips to Aruba. WTF? If you have a trip to Aruba I say GO, GO NOW and HELP in the search.

One couple canceled their honeymoon plans to go to Aruba and are going to rent a Winabagow to travel the U.S. I just thought that was selfish. If I had the money to go to Aruba I’d go…but then again would I be of ANY help whatsoever? Who knows.

Ok. sorry to rant here on your blog. Thanks

  3. That’s ok, it offsets my ranting :)

Yes, Bush can. I think it is article II, section 2, of the Constitution, says specifically that a President can do this.

Oh crap, I just noticed on my first comment I typed, “which I can’t agree with”…

it was SUPPOSED to read “which I CAN agree with”. DUH
