Chris Short, cross posting over at The Jawa Report, has an interesting thought:
Does anyone here think that Rove might have made his comments the other night so soon after Durbin’s inflammatory comments to prove how hypocritical liberals are?
Could be. I’m positive that Rove knows what kind of effect he has on the Lefties, who are going crazy insane at places like Kosbat, most of the folks on Kosbat’s blogroll, the DU, and just about everywhere in Moonbat land. What did Rove say?
"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers," Mr. Rove said at the annual dinner of the New York State Conservative Party.
Mr. Rove also accused Sen. Richard J. Durbin, Illinois Democrat, of endangering U.S. troops with his comments last week.
"Has there ever been a more revealing moment this year?" Mr. Rove asked, referring to the Senate’s No. 2 Democrat comparing U.S. interrogation techniques at the Guantanamo Bay naval base to the Nazi and Soviet regimes.
"Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals."
So now all the moonbats are out of the closet, calling for Rove to apologize or resign. Another case of "Free Speech for me, but not for thee." The Left has been throwing around serious slurs for quite some time now. Like children, then can dish it out, but not take it. And, gee, where were they all when Durbin made his comments? I heard silence, how about you? Rove was right. We know where the alegience of the Democrats lies.
