From the Washington Liberal Post
BOBIGNY, France — French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy defended his tough anti-crime policies on Monday after a fourth night of riots in a Paris suburb in which tear gas was fired into a mosque during evening prayers.
Gee, wiz, had that been done by US police or serviceman, surely the WP would have treated them fairly, huh? Yet nowhere can I find any sort of condemnation by the Post, the AP, or, well, anywhere. Guess France gets a pass in the US press. Heck, it is only a blurb in the World Brief. It is ignored much like the press ignored the violence that occured because of, then escalated by, the French in the Ivory Coast (many stories, if ye want to readeth them)
