I’ve said before that Hillary will not be the Surrender Monkey’s candidate in 2008. Here is another example of why the Dems will not pick her, from a Democratic Wackoground thread entitled "Why Hillary??":
NYCGirl: 4. Because then we’d have a Bush or a Clinton in the WH for 24-28 years, an entire generation. Dynasties are for banana republics, not the US. (followed by the kicker)
Warpy: 7. ..and conservatives in the White House since 1968. A conservative running against a slighly crazier conservative is not much of a choice. If that’s what happens again in 2008, I’ll be pleasing myself and writing in the Socialist candidate.
Conservatives in the party have lost us all 3 branches of government for far too long. It’s time to consider another alternative.
That is the kind of thinking that many of the radical loons have. Unfortunately for Hillary, these radical loons control the Democratic Party of Surrender. Sure, it is one comment, but, consider, on the most overrated blog in the Universe, the Daily Kosbat (outdoing even the protoplasm like Snargigleom of Altariun 5’s blog, composed stricly of the word "yasiulam"), the straw polls held every other week or so have Hillary running way back. You have Howard Dean as the Party leader, and Fat Mike is their diety. The Centrists and rational Democrats have become the minority.
Fortunately, it is the kind of thinking in that thread that will lead to a GOP victory. Probably by the Right-o-sphere whipping boy, John McCain.

ACK! Not fair you led me to believe the story had a happy ending. Tossing McCain in there at the end is going to give me nightmares.
I’m with Janette. I was reading along, minding my own business, hoping and praying that you would be right about this post, then you had to toss McCain in there. Of course, he could be the Democrat’s nomination — he’s probably far left enough to get a lot of D votes…
