BAGHDAD (AFP) – Three Iraqi children were killed by a roadside bomb near their school in a wave of explosive violence in Baghdad that claimed a total of 11 lives, police said.
The children were on their way to school Wednesday when they stopped to examine a bag in the central Baghdad neighborhood of Al-Fadel, a lower-income predominantly Sunni area, witnesses said.
"I saw the children playing with a bag lying in front of a photography store and suddenly it exploded," said Ali Mahmud, 35, who was driving by in his minibus.
Now, folks, if y’all read the whole story, you will notice something missing, which would be any sort of condemnation towards the people who would do something like this. The media, including the AFP, are all over it, throwing accusations, condemning, when it is the United States involved in tickle torture at Abu Ghraid or sleep deprivation and Christina Aguillera music at G’itmo, but some azzwipe leaves a bomb lying around that kills children, the story is "just the facts, Ma’am.
And don’t even get me started on a "wave of explosive violence." The AFP is trying to make it look like this is no big deal. Of course, like so many in the media, they tend to take the side of the terrorists. Kill a pregnant lady and her baby? No big deal, they were Israeli’s, after all. Blowup some Palestinian jihaddists, and the press goes bonkers.
