Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a potential White House candidate in 2008, said Wednesday some Republicans are trying to create a “police state” to round up illegal immigrants.
Speaking at a rally of Irish immigrants, Clinton criticized a bill the House passed in December that would impose harsher penalties for undocumented workers.
“Don’t turn your backs on what made this country great,” she said, calling the measure “a rebuke to what America stands for.”
The House measure would make unlawful presence in the United States, which is currently a civil offense, a felony.
Such changes should include “a path to earned citizenship for those who are here, working hard, paying taxes, respecting the law, and willing to meet a high bar for becoming a citizen,” Clinton wrote.
Interesting. Does Hillary understand the word “illegal?” Well, based on history, probably not. Why stop there? Let’s reward robber barons, claim jumpers, and those who practice frontier justice. What? We outlawed those things that helped develop mid America and the West coast? Dammmmmmmmn!

Surely you jest, Hellary know anything about the Statue of Liberty. She’s not a New Yorker, just a con that the real New Yorkers are stupid enough to be conned by. The only thing she knows about illegal is that anything illegal is an easy way for her and Slick to make money. They’ve used every illegal means in the country since before he bacame gov. of the poor state or Ark, but unlike the New Yorkers, the hillbillies figured them out and now they can’t carry the state in any election. Doesn’t say much for the people of NY does it? Sorry, but i’ve met hundreds of New Yorkers but never met one that I would consider average smart.
She is all over the place with her politics, annoying both the left and right. And her pandering and shrillness doesn’t help her with the center, either.
