By now, most of you are aware of the issues surrounding Rep. William Jefferson (D-La):
Allegedly scamming a Virginia businesswoman could prove to be a major mistake for a Democratic congressman from New Orleans.
The FBI revealed Sunday that Rep. William Jefferson under investigation for bribery, was videotaped accepting $100,000 in $100 bills from an FBI informant whose conversations with the lawmaker also were recorded. Agents later found the cash hidden in his freezer, according to a court document released Sunday.
Pretty damning, eh? But, what do they think of this in Liberal World?
Well, the only place I can find anything regarding this is on the Huff Puff. Everyone else in the Left-O-Sphere is ignoring it. This story shoves their face in the reality that we often elect people who aren’t the greatest, as well as that the system promotes this behavior.
Quite frankly, everyone can talk about cleaning it up, but it has been going on in government since Og was elected over Baga, and ‘taint going to stop anytime soon. If wishes were fishes we’d all eat rather well.
