Ze French cheese eating surrender monkeys are up to their old tricks, and are at the top of their game:
PARIS (Al Reuters) – France condemned Israel's offensive in Lebanon on Friday as "completely disproportionate" and Beirut said it had been assured by President Bush he would press Israel to limit civilian casualties.
The Vatican also deplored the strikes mounted in response to a raid by Hizbollah guerrillas who killed eight Israeli soldiers and captured two. Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation, called them an extreme threat to peace in the region.
But Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, speaking on Thursday night, described the campaign of bombing and rocket attacks on power stations, bridges, roads and militant bases as a measured response resting on the right of self-defense.
France, just what we expected. The Vatican, well, the Church wants peace. Of course, you would think the Pope would understand what appeasement gets you. Go Canada!
French President Jacques Chirac said in a television interview: "One can ask oneself whether there isn't a sort of desire to destroy Lebanon.
"I find, honestly, like most Europeans, that the reactions are completely disproportionate."
Chirac also condemned Hizbollah for attacking Israel and firing rockets into the Jewish state. "These people are totally irresponsible," he said.
"Also condemned," surely as an afterthought. "Oh, those silly terrorists. If only they would learn to drink coffee and eat croissants on the Rue, they would be oh so peaceful."
You really would think that a Frenchman would understand appeasement, too. I guess their memories aren't that great.
In other news, the French Department of Transportation has been busy renovating their border security with Germany
As you can see, the replacement speed bumps have been stretched from 7 inches to 12 inches and the height has been lowered from 5 inches to 2 and 5/8 inches, making it much easier for Panzers to cross them. They have also been painted with yellow stripes, making them easier for the Panzer commanders to see, as well as a fashion statement.

Update: More EU leaders turning French:
"In my view, Israel is making a mistake," said Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. "It will only lead to an escalation of the violence."
In Italy, Prime Minister Romano Prodi said he recognized Israel's legitimate concerns and condemning the kidnapping of the soldiers.
But "we deplore the escalation in the use of force, the serious damage to Lebanese infrastructure and the civilian casualties of the raids," the Italian leader added.
"On the one hand, Israel has the internationally recognised right to self defence. But at the same time we ask our Israeli friends and partners not to lose sight of the long-term consequences when they exercise this right," German deputy government spokesman Jens Ploetner said. (the long term consequences being the destruction of Hezzbolah. Surrender Monkey!)
Hezbollah’s End Of Days…
If the UN, the leftist sissies of the EU, and our own defeatists would just mind their own f*ckin business and let Israel do its job, perhaps the world can be rid of a least one sub-specious on this planet: Hezbollah….
Cut the French some slack. They are making progress if they’ve put up those speed bumps.
That’ll make it much harder for the German’s to occupy them next time they take a turn towards France.
The French speed bumps is a riot! LMAO!!!!
