Thirsty Thursday Linkfest: What, No National Security?

And a happy thursday. What everyone is thirsty for is assuredly Pepto Bismo and a V8 from drinking to much on Wednesday ;)

BTW, V8 is REALLY good for hangovers, if you can get past the smell. Trust me. I went to East Carolina U in the late 80's to early 90's.

So, people voted in a Dhimmicrat majority in Congress. I wonder what the Democrats will, in a bipartisan manner (snicker chuckle), do? Let's listen first to Dingy Harry

"The American people have spoken clearly and decisively in favor of Democrats leading this country in a new direction. In Iraq and here at home, Americans have made clear they are tired of the failures of the last six years. The days of the Do Nothing Congress are over. From changing course in Iraq to raising the minimum wage to fixing the health care crisis to making this country energy independent, we're ready to get to work. Now it is time for Democrats and Republicans to join together and make Congress work for every American."

Ooooooookay. Now, how about Howard Dean,?

"Our work didn't end last night, it begins today as we put forward an agenda that puts the American people first. Democrats are unified and ready to change the tone of politics in Washington to get things done for the American people. The African American community has paid for the Republican Congress' failed leadership with higher unemployment rates, lower hourly wages, and lower family income, while more are falling into the ranks of the uninsured. These inequities cannot continue to stand. We will value your beliefs and your families as we work together to make America stronger. Together we will move America in a new direction."

Impressive. Dean manages to play the race card and discuss what is really important to Dhimmicrats at the same time. Bravo!

In all the speeches by the Dhimmi's, I have yet to see anything on national  security, you know, protecting the borders, ports, rail stations, airports, national monuments, and stopping international terrorism.

Did I miss that speech? ;)
