Just another case of pre-emptive surrender by a leading Democrat
WASHINGTON – The Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman warned on Sunday against fostering an arms race in space after China was reported to have conducted an anti-satellite weapons test.
Sen. Joe Biden, (Defeatocrat-Del.), said the test was provocative, but that the United States had ways to combat the threat posed by it.
"I don't think we should be overly worried about this at this point," Biden said. "We have ways to deal with that ability."
And those "ways to deal with that ability" are……….? Joe? Hello? Oh, wait, I forget. Those ways are either compete, or give up. You know he is not talking about competing, which, yes, involves the USA protecting herself "against all enemies, foreign and domestic." It just seems easier for Democrats to just say "ta hell with it, we're going home."
"This is not the direction we want to go, in escalating competition in space. And we should be talking about it," Biden said.
Told ya! Pre-emptive surrender. Cheese and Monkeys. God forbid that the United States competes to stay on top.

You’re wallowing in the world of the 20th century. Come, be progressive, as the Democrats have done for the 21st century. Is it bad and wrong for the United States to be supreme any more. Why, the communist and taliban forms of government are just as good as a Republic, just different.
Have to buy some cheese, though ;)
