Chuck Hagel Continues Surrender Monkey Activity

Can Chuck just change parties already? Tell you what, what say we trade players; we'll take Joe Lieberman, the SMs can have Chuck

In a calculated snub of President Bush, the Democratic-controlled Senate Foreign Relations Committee dismissed plans for a troop buildup in Iraq on Wednesday as "not in the national interest" of the United States.

The committee vote, 12-9 along party lines, capped hours of debate in which Republicans and Democrats vented their frustration and anger — both with the administration and their own past unwillingness to change the course of a war that has claimed the lives of more than 3,000 U.S. troops.

"There is no strategy. This is a pingpong game with American lives," said Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel (news, bio, voting record) of Nebraska.

Hagel was the only one of 10 committee Republicans to support the nonbinding measure. Several of the panel's 11 Democrats said they favored stronger legislation to register their opposition to the war.

You know, this is the type of pussillanimous behavior that helped lose Congress for the Republicans, along with their spendaholic binges and idiocy on illegal immigration, as well as the low poll numbers for Congress and President Bush. If, instead of backing the Democrats surrender monkey, and, at best, disengenuous rhetoric, they had spoken up, backed the plan to win in Iraq, offered helpfull suggestions, and backed their President, the GOP might still be in charge of Congress, and we could be well on our way to leaving Iraq after successfully accomplishing our goals.

I’ve already sent Hagel an email and imformed him that he has regenerated the ‘not one dime’ to the RNC program. Millions of dhimmi’s will be proud to spread the word. He alone will insure that there will not be a republican president in 08 and probably for years to come. Evidently he like the role of minority and wants a permanent seat there. It was McCain alone, now it is McCain or Hagel that will force me to vote for Hellary.

  2. State of the Union…

Look carefully into the mirror to see who they are really laughing at – through him.

  3. John Ryan says:

Even Oliver North is against the troop level being increased. On his last trip to Iraq he said that he spoke with not one person serving in Iraq that thought an increase was a good idea.

  4. Perhaps, John, they may be right. I personally think they should take the troops and put them on the borders and kill all the wacko’s coming in to Iraq.

But Chuck is helping neither his country or his Party by siding with the people who have been calling for surrender before the war even started.

  5. Rick says:

Here in Nebraska Chuck is known as the first of a new party caled the “republicrats”. Chuck just needs to go independant and then shut up!!

  6. It is people like Chuck who helped lose Congress.
