Now that the shamnesty bill is hopefully dead, at least for awhile, what is going on in Iraq?

CAMP TAJI, Iraq – Two suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices detonated causing major damage to two mosques near Abu Ghraib, Iraq June 7. 

Those crazy Islamic extremists. Guess they do not care about their religious icons. It’s all about power. Kinda like the Democrats, but with cajones.

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Iraqi and Coalition Forces detained 16 suspected terrorists Thursday morning during raids in Sadr City.

The individuals detained during the raid are believed to be members of the secret cell terrorist network known for facilitating the transport of weapons and explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, from Iran to Iraq, as well as bringing militants from Iraq to Iran for terrorist training.

If news like this made the Big Media, they would be called insurgents or militants.

BAQOUBA, Iraq – Iraqi army and Coalition Force Soldiers discovered caches containing large amounts of explosives and a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device northwest of Baqouba, June 4.

 Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 5th Iraqi army, and Delta Company, 1-12th Combined Arms Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, discovered two large caches containing improvised explosive device-making materials in a home and in an open field adjacent to the house.

I wonder where this stuff keeps coming from? Don’t blame Iran, the libs say, as you might hurt their feelings.

BALAD – Iraqi Security Forces seized a cache containing more than 1,000 pounds of weapons and explosives and rendered lifesaving aid to a child during a recent convoy patrol in Western Iraq.

 With Coalition Forces present as advisors, Iraqi Forces led the patrol east of Ramadi where they heard a burst of gunfire while they were clearing and disposing of an anti-tank mine.  Following the gunfire, local citizens rushed a 6 to 8-year-old girl suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound to the chest to their location.

These animals care little for children, yet liberals around the world take their side over that of the USA. Figures.

BAGHDAD – Iraqi Army Forces conducted an early morning intelligence driven operation on June 6 and captured four suspected al-Qaeda terrorists in Saqlimiyah.  The targeted individuals are suspected of facilitating weapons transfers to and from Fallujah, Habbiniyah and areas south.

Repeat after Nance Pelosi: there is no Al Qaeda in Iraq.
