He’s entitled to his free speech, no matter how stupid. It’d be nice if he would just fade into the woodwork, or go build some homes, which he is actually good at, instead of taking the side of terrorists yet again
(Jeruselum Post) The United States, Israel and the European Union must end their policy of favoring Fatah over Hamas, or they will doom the Palestinian people to deepening conflict between the rival movements, former US President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday.
Carter, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate who was addressing a conference of Irish human rights officials, said the Bush administration’s refusal to accept the 2006 election victory of Hamas was "criminal."
Got that? Criminal. Not accepting a group who engages in intentional killing of civilians as a government is criminal. If Carter were to run again for president, his campaign song should be Golden Earing’s "Twilight Zone," or perhaps "Hells Bells" by AC/DC.
Now, as Carter goes around slamming the US and Israel, for the most part, while only mentioning the EU in passing, let’s see why Hamas has been shunned in favor of Fatah.
- Could it be, Jimmy, that they are an officially recognized terrorist group?
- Could it be, Jimmy, that their state goals are the destruction of Israel, the killing of civilians, and an Islamic caliphate?
Hmm, I suppose there is really no need to write anymore. That kinda says it all. Yet Carter prefers that they be treated like an official governmental party. Would he say the same thing if al Qaeda put up a political wing for election in some country, and won?
Probably so.
Jimmy Jihad Carter, our favorite Islamomaniac terrorist sympathizer…. and a former U.S. President of the United States of America? Oh my… Allah? One nation under Allah??
