Um, OK
On November 15, Accion America said they would like to see all Irving businesses closed for the day. They are urging everyone, including students, to participate.
The group will also hold a massive public meeting at Irving City Hall that day.
The move is the latest form of protest against the city’s criminal alien program. The program allows federal immigration agents access to the jail to determine the residency status of prisoners..
Good program! Keep it up
Anyhow, I wonder what happened to the meme that all these immigrants are hard workers and are just looking for a break? Kinda difficult when they are out there protesting again and again.
Opponents feel the city’s policy of only accepting a Texas driver’s license or ID card as proof of identification will harm illegal immigrants and promote deportation.
Isn’t that the point? To find out who they are and deport their criminal asses?
They also say it has caused an atmosphere of fear and racism in the city.
If they are afraid, it could be because they are criminals. They should put the blame squarely where it belongs: on themselves.
Yanking out the racism card is a sure sign that one has no valid argument, they simply want to end debate and assault people with ad hominum attacks.
