    There is a wonderful tradition in the Army. Whenever soldiers get together for a formal affair they always set an extra place at a special table that remains empty throughout the meal. It is to remind us that somewhere a soldier is serving in harms-way and cannot be with us. It also honors those who will never be with us again.
