George McGovern Goes Top Shelf Moonbat

Seriously, why do liberals/progressive/surrender monkeys love to trot out their failures to assail the Bush Administration? Jimmy Carter, one of the worst presidents ever. The country was so bad under him that people actually came up with the “Misery Index.” Mike Dukakis. Gary Hart. Al Gore. And, now, in the Washington Post (go figure!), George “520-17″ McGovern Monkey, penning “Why I Believe Bush Must Go

McGovern monkey says helloAs we enter the eighth year of the Bush-Cheney administration, I have belatedly and painfully concluded that the only honorable course for me is to urge the impeachment of the president and the vice president.

After the 1972 presidential election, I stood clear of calls to impeach President Richard M. Nixon for his misconduct during the campaign. I thought that my joining the impeachment effort would be seen as an expression of personal vengeance toward the president who had defeated me.

Today I have made a different choice.

George, your 15 minutes of fame and of influence ended a long time ago. Don’t get too high on yourself, the Wash Post is only using you to push their hard left agenda.

But what are the facts?

Bush and Cheney are clearly guilty of numerous impeachable offenses. They have repeatedly violated the Constitution. They have transgressed national and international law. They have lied to the American people time after time. Their conduct and their barbaric policies have reduced our beloved country to a historic low in the eyes of people around the world. These are truly “high crimes and misdemeanors,” to use the constitutional standard.

I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether McGovern actually provides proof of his assertion in the editorial of his. Personally, I couldn’t find any, just random rantings. But, of course, we all know that that is what liberalism is about. It’s like Tourret Syndrome without the brain power.

From the beginning, the Bush-Cheney team’s assumption of power was the product of questionable elections that probably should have been officially challenged — perhaps even by a congressional investigation.

I really should stop right there over this vast degenerative loonacy of moonbattery, but, just one more excerpt, if you will indulge me

How could a once-admired, great nation fall into such a quagmire of killing, immorality and lawlessness?

It happened in part because the Bush-Cheney team repeatedly deceived Congress, the press and the public into believing that Saddam Hussein had nuclear arms and other horrifying banned weapons that were an “imminent threat” to the United States. The administration also led the public to believe that Iraq was involved in the 9/11 attacks — another blatant falsehood. Many times in recent years, I have recalled Jefferson’s observation: “Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.”

In my world, if elected officials are so idiotic and incompetent that they couldn’t see that they were “being decieved” then they should all be thrown out on their butts. As far as “imminent threat” goes, McGovern should be aware that the phrase came from Jay Rockafeller and, yes, current surrender party candidate John Edwards. Only in Liberal World do they believe that Saddam was involved in 9/11. Just another moonbat meme. And so on and so forth. Y’all have heard and had this discussion so often with the hard left, who keeps bringing it up. Instead of progressives, they should be called “regressives.”

More: Speaking of impeachment moonbats, Jay at Stop the ACLU posts about the Florida ACLU calling for impeachment, which Michelle M is also covering. As usual, the moonbat impeachment nutters fail to provide a little something called “proof of criminal wrongdoing.” I mean, gee wiz, they cannot even offer up evidence of witness tampering, obstruction of justice, perjury, or sexual harrasment.

It took me several tries to read this post. I can get past the primate and that look. OMG, frickin awesome picture.

Okay, anyway; Georgie boy would have some credibility if he actually confronted some stuff about another administration. Just saying.

“Historic low in the eyes of people around the world”?? Is that guy drunk? A lot of “people around the world” give our support to a democracy fighting a dictatorship, as it was the case in Irak. That asshole should not speak in the name of Conservative Europeans.

The Bush term is running out.
Republicans are going to take a long time to recover from that one !!
Anyone who REALLY feels otherwise should be buying contracts on Intrade.com
The payoff on the Republicans keeping the white House is now just about 3-1
For us liberals/deafocrats/terrorists lovers/ we have to bet 2 dollars to win 1 dollar.
The Democrats are HEAVY favorites !!
