I was finally able to get a hold of a copy of the book at one of the local Barnes and Noble stores here in Raleigh. I had been to all 4 in Triangle area, 2 of them twice (Cary and at the Triangle Town Center).
There was a grand whopping one copy on the shelf at TTC store, none in “new non-fiction” areas. I asked, and the lady said they got a total of 5 copies in yesterday.
I do have to wonder if they are intentionally short ordering. And I am referring not just to the stores, but to B&N overall. I was near a Borders today, and plenty of copies (though, they do not have any front and center, either.) There were plenty at the Waldenbooks at a mall in Durham, NC Wednesday.
Also, I think you will enjoy this: when I was ringing out, I also had the new John Ringo book, which was on top. Lady rang that out, then saw your book, and gave a little sniff of disapproval. I was SO tempted to ask her opinion, but, alas, I really did not want to deal with any lefty hysterics. Though it would have been amusing.
Started the book. Fantastic so far. No wonder the Lefties are going more berserk then normal.
