New Theme Time!!!!

So, what do y’all think? Yes? No?

See any issues with it?

I liked the rotating banner for the previous theme, but, I kinda like having sidebars on the left and right, with the blue surrounding the whole thing, which goes back to the theme I had on Typepad.

Well, I’m a template whore. I always get excited about new templates.

  2. Everything look good? Any suggestions? Anything I missed?

  3. Interestingly, it is even faster then the previous one, which, being based on Sandbox, was pretty quick.

Had to screw with a bunch of small things to get it to work right, such as line breaks and bullet stuff. Pain in the behind, probably cost me just as much time as the formatting and stuff, like in the header, main index, etc. The server for my development site is not the fastest.

LOVE the new look! (And LOL at your “anti-spam” word ;) )

  5. I like it. Good job. Now, is it ready for 2.5?

  6. Thanks, Brian, preciate it!

Not a clue if it is, Jim, but, I sure hope so. I had to dump a modified version of Fall Season because it would not work with 2.2, and still doesn’t work with 2.3. This one is pretty close, and is in the format I really want. Fluid width, and sidebars that do not hose out like some of them.

I like it, especially the blue border (even though I’m not a Giants fan). Can you control the line break on the sub menu line (Home RSS 2.0 Email Me…)? Mine breaks between No and Understanding. Not a blogger or web designer so don’t know capabilities. Is it screen size & font size related?
Nice job, I really enjoy reading your stuff and look forward to Sunday’s!

  11. Hey, Andy, thanks for stopping in and the kind words.

I hadn’t even noticed what you point out. I’ve been looking at the theme in a larger screen, but, yeah, you are right, it squeezes down on to different lines. I checked the code, and that is built in to the theme being fluid.
