Nice to see this happening in North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina
More than 14,000 illegal immigrants have been deported from North and South Carolina and Georgia in the past eight months, according to federal immigration officials.
“The fact of the matter is that our officers deport people every day. Deportations are up every year. I attribute that to increased activities by the agency and increased resources,” Barbara Gonzalez, a regional spokeswoman for the U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement agency, told The Greenville News.
Excellent, most excellent!
When immigrants lose their appeals to stay in the U.S., they are sent back on flights home to their native country, sometimes with an escort if their are certain risk factors, Gonzalez said.
Each flight costs taxpayers between $600 and $700 depending on the destination, Gonzalez said.
Should make them work it off before saying putting on those flights and saying “don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out! And stay out!”
I’d much prefer seeing them shipped home immediately via coach class (I do wish planes had steerage) while deducting the cost of a first class ticket from their home country’s foreign aid payments from the USA. Deduct the cost of all legal proceedings involved, too.
Ah, in a perfect world RWR.
The convicted criminals should have another option RWR but, other than that, I agree with you.
How do you spell trebouchette anyway?
Heck of a good idea, RWR.
I suggest we ship them all to San Fran and Ted Kennedy’s house, then seal the areas off.
