By now, most people know about the hacking of Sarah Palin’s email account, along with family members account. You can start with Michelle and Memeorandum. And on to the Mac attack
“This is a shocking invasion of the governor’s privacy and a violation of law,” McCain-Palin campaign manager Rick Davis said in a statement. “The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them. We will have no further comment.”
The FBI and Secret Service are looking into who hacked the account, officials said.
Hopefully, the USSS and DOJ will conduct the investigation in the manner they did with Duke Cunningham, rather then as they have withe William “Cold Cash” Jefferson (D-La.)
On to the question: this story has pretty much been going on for around 7 hours now. When will Barack Obama, who says he wants a civil, mature, ethical campaign respond, and denounce this blatant invasion of privacy?
My good Liberal blogfriend, The Gun Toting Liberal, earns himself no friends within the Leftist community in denouncing this himself. I’m not finding anyone else who votes Democrat who is willing to take a stand for Liberty like he does.
I am just going to toss this out there….
Back in 1972 some low-level crooks broke into the Democratic Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel looking for information to use against them in the Presidential Election. How is this any different? Will we see demands for investigations? Will there be Congressional Hearings? Will people want to know who knew about it and when they knew? I highly doubt it because it was a Republican on the receiving end.
