First Obama lost Mo Dowd, then he lost Paul Krugman and Frank Rich. Now he’s lost Hugo Chavez
Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez said on Sunday his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama was at best an “ignoramus” for saying the socialist leader exported terrorism and obstructed progress in Latin America.
“He goes and accuses me of exporting terrorism: the least I can say is that he’s a poor ignoramus; he should read and study a little to understand reality,” said Chavez, who heads a group of left-wing Latin American leaders opposed to the U.S. influence in the region.
Oh no, what are the nutroots to do now? Must be a hard decision on who to back for them, eh? Of course, Liberals are known for spinning away. Case in point: since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the left told us the real war was in the Afghanistan/Pakistan area against Al Qaeda and the Taliban (even though the Taliban did not actually attack the USA on 9/11.) Now, well, they are a bit worried over the Predator strikes in, yes, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Weren’t these the same folks who cheered when Obama said he would send troops into Pakistan?
Even his plaintive love letter to Iran was rejected. What’s a celebrity to do? Hope it isn’t along the lines of pulling a Britney Spears or Paris Hilton. Every time a Obama loses a liberal, a unicorn dies.
