Heck, even the postal service shut down for this monster storm, but, alas, the press corps had to follow Obama around, and are whining about the danger
Photographers in the White House press corps experienced two dangerous moments on Saturday while covering President Barack Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Committee’s Winter Meeting.
Reporters ventured out to cover the speech amid a massive snowstorm in Washington that could dump up to three feet of snow on the region.
According to the White House pool report, as the motorcade drove back to the White House after the president’s speech, a medium-size tree branch snapped under the weight of the snow and fell on top of an SUV carrying photographers.
Earlier in the day, an ambulance slid into the same SUV (wait, aren’t all these left wing media folks believers in man made global warming?).
Just a hint, folks. You aren’t in league with Kit Coleman, Ernie Pyle, Dickey Chapelle, or Basil Clarke, among others. Look, when even the dogs want to stay inside, it might be a good idea to do the same.
On the flip side, perhaps Barry could have canceled his appearance at the DNC Winter Meeting, so that others weren’t put in danger.
As one here in the D.C. area, I know full well how dangerous it is even to venture out in this blizzard.
Any other President we’ve had would have canceled his appearance at the DNC, which was safely ensconced and sheltering in place.
Of course, BHO doesn’t care one whit about the safety of others.
