God forbid MSNBC covers the story of the Dems cracking up like a house with termites, no, they have to go with
Face meet palm
For all the evidence of a divided Republican Party, the Democratic Party has its own widening cracks that could make a potentially bleak election year even more dour.
What evidence is there of a divided GOP?
Republicans are wrestling with their own deep splits. There’s a family feud over whether the Republican Party should strictly adhere to conservative principles or be more inclusive. That infighting is prominently on display in a slew of contentious primary contests.
Um, no. While there are surely fringe elements, the majority of Republican voters are conversing about the issues, putting aside social issues, focusing on core Conservative values, and attempting to hold our elected leaders accountable. You know, politics as usual. And that is the only paragraph MSNBC includes regarding the divided GOP. The other 29 paragraphs, some of them one sentence-ers, are all about Democrats losing it, including 7 bullet points on page 2 about what has happened in the past month.
Problems with the gay and lesbian community, unions, illegal aliens supporters, fringe environmentals, elected Democrats, the ACLU, the Congressional Black Caucus, liberals/progressives. You name the group – doesn’t it seem like everyone who is a left leaner has to be in a group, rather than an individual? – they have gripes. Don’t worry, MSNBC is there to provide advice in what was supposed to be straight news
Obama must bring together — and fire up — the many Democratic coalitions if he hopes to minimize expected losses for his party in this November’s election when control of Congress is at stake. The risk if he doesn’t is that Democrats could become so disaffected that they stay home in November.
It’s far from too late. Passage of the health care overhaul would mean a monumental victory for Obama just when he needs one. This president will have accomplished what others before him couldn’t, a triumph that would give the fractured rank and file something to rally around.
Right. Obama is actually in a lose-lose situation with health care. If it passes, his poll numbers will drop even further among the 48% dead set against this monstrosity, and there is an extremely good chance the Dems will lose Congress. If it doesn’t pass, his unhinged base will be demoralized.
Then, the governing began in earnest — and so did the complaining.
Governance is haaaaawd! Especially with partisan hacks like Pelosi and Reid in one part of the government, and a guy with no real world experience, no executive experience, the ability to duck the hard votes, and an agenda he hid during the campaign in another part of the government.
The Kommiecrats based their power structure on groups thus solitifying lawyers and blacks as their main blocks, then unions & feminists. Eventually block demands conflicted with other blocks.
Could you call it a base of sand?

Could be. Another way would be to think of them several different flocks of stupid birds. Each group is flying one way, and keep running into each other.
