Since When Has A Person Being Struck By A Car Been Hilarious?

So, I am driving off to work, listening to Comedy Attack on AOL Radio with ye olde iPhone. They are playing a Dane Cook clip. Take a listen

How, exactly, is that funny in any possible way? No, I am not being over-sensitive. It’s not a Bugs Bunny or Tom & Jerry cartoon. It’s real life.

And the audience is eating it up. I couldn’t conceive being drunk enough to find the skit funny in the least. When did it become funny, and cool, to have a life goal in seeing someone hit by a car? I have actually seen that. It’s tragic. Horrible. A memory I could do without.

What’s your opinion?

  1. It hurts! A LOT!
I got hit by a 1956 Chevy Bel Air Four Door in the Havre High School parking lot the spring of my senior year. Nothing broken but I had a bruise that went from my left armpit to the left ankle. The guy was swapping spit with his girlfriend!

Americans are either on drugs, fluoride, or fill up with junk food to think this is amusing funny

I never have found this guy funny. But I do agree that Americans are nuts. I have seen similar incidents and people just get out and look. They stay in the way of those trying to help and are actually offended if you tell them to leave.

George Carlin had a bit about how anything can be funny. He said that even rape can be funny if it’s in the proper context. This guy is no George Carlin.

The most violent show on TV is America’s Home Videos.
