Happy Independence Day Sunday! Hot dogs, cowgirls, the open plains, freedom….ah, it’s pure American. This pinup is by, of course, Bill Layne, with a wee bit of help. Interestingly, for at least the 3rd straight year, I was going to use a different pinup, something old school, until I realize “hey! She’s got no drawers on!”

Thanks for the linkage.
I just watched 1776 and Yankee Doodle Dandy, and now The Boston Pops are on. It’s a Grand Old Flag.
Happy Independence Day, Admiral.
Appreciate the linkie-luv as always bro… Happy Independence Day to you, yours and your readers :-)
Quite welcome, Bob and GTL. Happy 4th!
I just tunes in to th Boston Pops on CBS, and it was the last minute of the 1812 Overture. That’s the best damned part of the whole show! Dammit, they should have shown the whole song! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Ever since CBS outbid A&E for the rights to it, they’ve really screwed the whole concert up. The tradition is for the 1812 to be followed by The Stars And Stripes Forever and the fireworks. Now, The Pops plays the 1812 at 9:30PM on the local broadcast and CBS only plays the end of it at the start of their coverage at 10PM. The patriotic sing-a-long is also cut in two, with the national audience only seeing half of it. It stinks what they’ve done.
Thanks for the linky love, sir. Hope you had a terrific holiday.

as always, thanks for the Sortof Blogless shout out! :)
