It is still unclear if a Florida pastor will go through with his plans to burn the Quran on the anniversary of 9-11 tomorrow, but one thing is for sure, a church in Topeka will burn the Quran, “and then some”. Topeka’s Westboro Baptist Church has angered more than its share of military families over the years with its protests at the funerals of American soldiers. On Saturday, they not only plan to burn the Qur’an, they plan to burn an American flag as well. A spokesperson for the church tells the paper that no time or location has been set, though it will happen on 9-11.

Just to be clear, they should not do either. It is an unnecessary provocation, and, again, does not jibe with Christianity. That said, if these wacko’s go ahead and do both, I wonder what kind of response we will see from Islamists and Americans?
