No matter how much the left, the media, and the Democrats try to demonize and marginalize Palin (it probably would have been wiser to simply ignore her, libs), her message resonates with the People
Fifty-two percent (52%) of Likely U.S. Voters say their own views are closer to Sarah Palin’s than they are to President Obama’s, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
Just 40% say their views are closer to the president’s than to those of the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate.
It’s not surprising. The more the Left goes after Palin, the more people tune in. And, quite frankly, even those on the Right usually say they agree with her, they just don’t like the way she puts it (those squishy Republicans really need to take their diapers off, ya know?).
Among the Political Class, however, 68% say their views are more like Obama’s, while 63% of Mainstream voters describe their views as more like Palin’s
That breaks it down even more. The political class is upset because she does things her way, not “the way it has always been done,” and this includes the GOP elites.
Eighty-four percent (84%) of Republicans and 59% of voters not affiliated with either major party say their views are more like Palin’s. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats say they think more like the president.
That number for Independents hurts Democrats. Unshockingly, Democrats think like Obama. Until it is THEIR money and lifestyle at stake.
