Mega-Evil Fox News Owner Calls For Amnesty For Law Abiding Illegals….Wait, What?

What a quandary for liberals: the man they love to personally loathe (among so many others they do not know and have never met) has a position that almost completely mirrors their own. They haven’t had this much angst since Bush and Darth Rove were pushing for amnesty years ago

News Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch said he supports amnesty for “law abiding” illegal immigrants because as legal residents they can help the nation’s economy by adding to “our tax base.” He also said he supports securing the border to prevent more illegal immigrants from entering the United States.

At a hearing on Thursday before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Murdoch testified, “I joined Mayor [Michael] Bloomberg in organizing the Partnership for a New American Economy because I believe that all Americans should have a vital interest in fixing our broken immigration system so we can continue to compete in the 21st century global economy.”

Oh, the heartache in Liberal World! The man who owns the evil Fox News, NY Post and Wall Street Journal (and, double heartache, also the National Geographic channels) wants what liberals want!

Obviously, some people have to make this about Fox News

Earlier this year, Murdoch indicated that the media should be involved in the push for comprehensive immigration reform. However, Fox News employees don’t seem to agree. The Wonk Room shows that more than any other network, Fox News has repeatedly and consistently advocated against immigration reform and referred to Murdoch’s proposal as “amnesty.”

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) called Murdoch out on the blatant contradiction later in the hearing, pointing out, “it does not appear that what you are talking and the way you are discussing it is the way it is discussed on Fox.” Murdoch defended his position and his network…..

Seriously, chumps, Fox News is just one of News Corporations holdings. One which is extremely successful, killing its competition. We know you hate Fox News, but, give the moonbattery a break.

    Totally agree. Plus throw in identity theft, SS fraud and so on and so on. The fact that the people are here without permission is enough reason to throw them out, or at least deny services so they have to walk back home. They can get in line with every other person wanting in the country.

    Thankfully Obama has come up with a solution. Destroy the economy and they won’t come.

    The other concept, how can a bunch of illegal, ignorant, low income people help the economy. Is there something about living on the East coast that is dangerous to your mental health?
