Tuesday Awesome: Legislation Would Let Law Drop Illegals Off At Congress Critters Offices

This just has awesome written all over it

A measure filed by State Rep. Lois Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) would allow any law enforcement agency that has custody of an illegal immigrant to take the illegal to ‘the office of a U.S. Senator or Representative’ and leave them there.

1200 WOAI news reports the measure also allows county sheriff’s deputies or city police officers to ‘request an agent or employee of the United States Senator or United States Representative to sign a document acknowledging the release or discharge of the illegal immigrant at the senator’s or representative’s office.

That’s in Texas, BTW. Here’s hoping other states, such as Arizona, do the same.

Why stop at the office, drop them at their home.

I agree. Drop them at the Senators home. I’m sure they will have a much better chance of finding a way to keep comfortable while waiting there, especially if the Senator is actually in Washington.

You know, I realize that the idea of dropping people off in front of Senator’s houses is a comical one, but we have seen the SEIU attack people’s homes and have spoken out against it.

I hope the suggestion was tongue in cheek because I, for one, don’t relish the idea of a 5 year old kid being stuck in his house because of a bunch of people – illegal aliens or not – surrounding. To me that is “visiting the sins of the father on the son.”

    • Yes, it was. I wouldn’t really want them Delors anywhere but the other side of the border, or whatever country they came from. Though, if passed, perhaps one or two just to make a point at their offices.

Agreed on dropping them off at their offices. Congresscritters need to see the effects of their lack of action on illegal immigration.

Other businesses have to deal with the illegal immigrants, and as the offices of the Representatives are their “business site,” they should feel the effect.

Offices are in play. Homes are out of bounds. :)

Heck. I say drop them off at the homes of the Hollywood elite, or just Hollywood in general. Since half of California loves their illegals, let them have them. THen put up a big huge fence around California.
