Nice! The Troglopundit Names Me And Awesome Debate Moderator

The Troglopundit picks 6 conservative bloggers who would be awesome as debate moderators, for either a GOP or Dem debate. I’m up for it!

Bill Teach: “Please look at this picture and tell me what you see.”

I think I could actually do a good job, because I would keep pecking away till I got an answer. Think of the way Laura Ingraham keeps going after someone, especially when she sits in for Bill O’Reilly.

    No.

You would be horrible at it.

You would hold up a picture of some woman in a skimpy bathing suit and ask Michelle Bachmann what she sees.

    ;)

Hey…. did that earthquake impact you at all?

    Hope all is well.

  2. At least I’d get a good “tongue lashing” from her :D

Was answering sales calls, and I thought the hurricane was here early. A little shaky like during that kind of storm, but no wind. Was weird

    How about you?

  3. gitarcarver says:

We didn’t get anything from the earthquake as far as I know. We are much further south than you are, however.

We were worried and keeping a eye on Irene, and it appears that she will miss us totally. They are projecting some winds here for 4 or 5 hours, but that is all. The surfers are loving it though. The bad news is that she is heading up the coast toward you. Hopefully the track will keep shifting east and miss the east coast altogether.

And now the “most politically incorrect joke of the day,” I swear when I heard that there was an earthquake in Virginia, my first thought was “did Michelle Obama slip and fall?”

It’s not funny…..okay…. maybe a little, but that really was my first thought.

That thought was worse than the “shark incidents around Martha’s Vineyard” quip.

I need to repent SOOOOOO badly. ;)

  4. You should smack yourself on the wrist for those. Though, they are funny.

When it first started, I thought that Irene had suddenly arrived. It reminded me of when a big gust front all of a sudden arrives, and the wind starts blowing stuff around and making the building creek. I started looking outside to see if was really windy. The trees were moving a bit, but nothing to make the building do what it was doing. Had to last for 30 seconds or so. Then I realized it might have been an earthquake, and started checking the news.

The way Irene is going, I doubt if it will even brush the Outer Banks. Every forecast puts it further east. Perhaps a Martha’s Vineyard strike?

    Perhaps a Martha’s Vineyard strike?

Nah. Obama would hold a press conference with his teleprompter and the resulting vortex of hot air would just push Irene away. ;)

    Kudos Teach.
Though, I think GC might be right. Some of the interviewees might be offended when your sole line of questioning is… “If all you see…”

But, then that might really dig down in to their personalities and let us see them for who they are.

    I LIKE IT!!!!!

  7. Hey, guys. Have you noticed that the latest Irene track takes it just to the east of Martha’s Vineyard? Serendipity?
