Angry Man Obama Attacks Republicans At West Coast Fundraisers

He’s continuing his Mr. Angry tone. And we all know that insulting and denigrating one’s opposition is the best way to get them to co-operate

(Fox News) President Barack Obama charged that the Republican vision of government would “fundamentally cripple America,” as he tried out his newly combative message on the liberal West Coast.

Aiming to renew the ardor of Democratic loyalists who have grown increasingly disenchanted with him, the president on Sunday mixed frontal attacks on Republicans with words of encouragement intended to buck up the faithful as the 2012 campaign revs up.

“From the moment I took office what we’ve seen is a constant ideological pushback against any kind of sensible reforms that would make our economy work better and give people more opportunity,” the president said at an intimate brunch fundraiser at the Medina, Washington, home of former Microsoft executive Jon Shirley, where about 65 guests were paying $35,800 per couple to listen to Obama.

Hunting around through dozens of articles on his campaign appearances on the West Coast, not one mentions Obama discussing his debt plan to raise taxes on the same people who paid $35,800 to attend (I’ll also note that tickets started at $2,500 to attend).

Similar messages followed at an event in Seattle and two more in California’s Silicon Valley Sunday evening, as Obama pushed through a seven-stop fundraising swing that was taking him from Seattle to Hollywood to San Diego through Monday. The three-day West Coast swing, ending Tuesday in Denver, offered him the chance to re-engage with some of his most liberal and deep-pocketed supporters.

Why isn’t Mr. Obama asking them to send that money to the Internal Revenue Service? Every little bit helps.

The trip comes as Obama has shifted from focusing on compromise with Republicans on Capitol Hill to calling out House Speaker John Boehner and others by name. The president has criticized them as obstructionists while demanding their help in passing his $447 billion jobs bill.

Interesting. Yet, Harry Reid (D-NV), Senate majority leader, has no intention of scheduling a vote on Obama’s “jobs” plan anytime soon. But, that wouldn’t fit the narrative. Nor would it fit that Obama is completely in campaign mode at this time, as he attacked Rick Perry, those who attended the recent GOP debates, Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, and others. Obama’s abandoned all pretenses of pretending to be POTUS. He’s out of viable, real world ideas….OK, he was out of viable, real world ideas about 5 minutes after he set foot in the Oval Office. His “jobs” bill will only save/create some jobs, mostly public sector union jobs, in the short term without creating a situation for long term growth. Just like with his Stimulus plan. And, like with his Stimulus plan, it will give some cash to some states for fixing potholes, painting bridges, and building turtle tunnels, all mostly done by people already working in construction, with no need to hire new people, even for the short term. But, it won’t help with any of the big projects, which are not shovel ready.

Furthermore, Obama’s far left progressive ideas will do nothing for the suffering white collar workers, who were mostly ignored in all of the Democrats stimulus plans, unless one worked for a union.

Well, its probably because we’ve already seen 2 years of proof of what his “reforms” have done to this country. We’ve seen what Socialism and Marxism has done to every other country it has been forcibly enforced upon its citizens.

We know, down to our own wallets, what spending more than what you earn means. We know, from our neighbors and family members, what happens when the debt collectors come calling.

As been said, You Can’t Fix Stupid. Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder. Unfortunately, you can’t fix liberal stupid-heads either. You just have to kick them out of the country.

You have to love this guy, he has the worse case of hoof in mouth disease since Billy Clinton. He promises to “fundamentally change the way we do business in this country” and there it is from his own lips: “fundamentally cripple America”. Man speaks from the abundance of his heart. Might blame it on the President again, but wait, he IS the President, elected almost three years ago.

Is he a Republican? Maybe it was the Congress that “fundamentally crippled America”. But weren’t they a Democratic congress until the end of 2010? So everything was great until then, right, and in little over half a year the PARTIALLY Republican congress totally destroyed the American way of life. As a Libertarian I have to commend them for doing in seven or eight months what we have been unable to achieve in over thirty years, terminate the Federal Gov! (Clark, 1980) We need to send these guys on to the UN to stop them, immediately.

But you know, my SS check keeps coming, (so does the UN’s) and Air Force One keeps flying over my house on yet another useless campaign trip. So maybe the only thing “fundamentally crippled” in America is Obama’s reputation as a dynamic campaign organizer. Hard to see how he could be elected as blackboard eraser for his elementary school class. Oh, there I go again dragging race into it. So I might as well go all the way-Herman Cain for President. That way Obama can complain all ‘we’ white racists are just out to get him. JR ‘Bob’ Richmond

He has a lot of loonies with him.

I just spent some time talking to a “progressive” who said the Republicans were “nihilistic obstructionists” when it came to Obama’s proposals such as the budget. When I said the Democrats controlled both Houses and the Presidency, she said they didn’t really control them because they couldn’t override a filibuster.

When she said that the Republicans should have voted to raise the debt ceiling, I reminded her that in 2006, Obama said that raising the debt ceiling showed a “lack of leadership” (from Bush of course.) She said the Democratic opposition to raising the debt ceiling in 2006 was principled, but the principled opposition to the debt ceiling being raised was mean spirited and self serving.

It was one of the more strange conversations I have had in a long time and don’t wish to repeat it.
