…is an evil fossil fueled airplane, you might just be a Warmist
The blog of the day is Neptunus Lex, in honor of Carroll LeFon, who died on the 6th in an aircraft accident. This ain’t Hell.. and AW1 Tim’s Blog have thoughts and roundups. I’ve read Neptunus Lex off and on for years, it was on my original blogroll, then disappeared with all the problems with Blogrolling. I’d just recently re-added. Carroll has been Called home, and I offer my condolences and prayers to his family and all who knew him. May God go with you.

*shamed* It took me a few seconds to realize there was a lady in that photo. I was thinking, “What the hell is that in front of the plane?”
What is that jet? That’s not an F-18 – the plane that the Blue Angels are flying these days.
I think it’s a A4 Skyhawk II, which they flew from 1974 to 1986. Smaller than an F18. If you ever go to the Air and Space Museum in DC, they have one up in the Navy aviation display. Pretty cool.
Gonna miss him here doing the blog thing.
His was the best Mil Blog. It was for me, anyway.
