Happy Sunday! Another gorgeous day in America, and one to remember, on this Memorial Day weekend, all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for America. This pinup is by Greg Hildebrandt, with a wee bit of help.

As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page. While we are on pinups, since it is that time of year, have you gotten your “Pinups for Vets” calendar yet? And don’t forget to check out what I declare to be our War on Women Rule 5 and linky luv posts

Anyone else have a link or hotty-fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list. (BTW, since someone asked, the reason I leave links for the previous week up (or you might see a *) is because they are place holders for later in the day or for next weeks. Easier than rewriting all the time. Also, the listing order has to do with how they are added over time, not how good a post is. I just copy and paste from the previous week, then edit. If you see one of the *’s, go ahead and check out the blog anyhow, see if there is an update. I cannot update with my Android during the day.

The posts do take a long time, so, if you want to send me your links for Rule 5 babeage or links, use ye olde email in the header bar (remove the NOSPAM part). Preferably, create the html link so I can copy and paste how you want it to read.

Thanks for the links! I especially appreciate the one on Governor Romney’s 6% unemployment pledge, since the article hasn’t drawn a single comment so far, and I thought it was a particularly good one.

  2. Don’t you just hate it when that happens, Dana? I’ve had that happen many a time, and I’m always like “WTF? I worked hard. I researched. I even proofread and edited.”

What annoys me most is blogging a story (particularly happens with globull warming stuff) days ahead of others than seeing something similar show up days later at Memeorandum and the big blogs, with not love shown.

  3. Dana says:

With not love shown? I always track back and give credit, though it seems that my trackbacks don’t always work.

  4. You do a great job of linking back.

Regarding TB’s not always working, that’s a WordPress thing. I hit update several times when I am linking back, doesn’t always work.

  5. gitarcarver says:

    Thanks for the link Teach!

(and I too always link back if you write or post something before I do!)

    Thanks again!

  6. proof says:

That is one nice looking Hellcat! (And the plane behind her isn’t bad, either!)

  7. Quite welcome, GT.

I was putting poorly what I meant. Every once in a while, I’ll link a story, again, usually something on AGW. Ahead of the curve. Then, a couple days later, some of the bigger bloggers or media outlets picks up on the original story that I blogged about days before hand. Kind of annoying.

On the bright side, with the cross-posting at Right Wing News, I have been able to get stories linked at Memeorandum. Rarely any AGW stuff, though.

    Teach,

No, I got what you meant. I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of people that 1) appreciate the link fest you have and 2) appreciate your writing and posts.

I know you and I have posted a couple things simultaneously and I always laugh at that because “great minds think alike.” ;)

Yet when I get an idea or a link from you, I always link it and that is the way it should be.

I am not nearly as popular as you are but I understand the frustration because what gets “stolen” from me are my graphics. That is just as frustrating. I don’t mind people using them, but at least link back to where you get them. :)

    Thanks again!
