He’s quite cool with spreading Other People’s money, but, his own? Not so much
(SacBee) A website sued by President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign for selling T-shirts and other merchandise with the campaign’s signature “O” logo is taking down the offending merchandise.
A judge in Washington on Monday agreed to bar Washington-based Demstore.com from selling merchandise with the “O” logo trademarked by the campaign. But the judge had reserved judgment on whether the website should also be barred from selling merchandise with a logo that uses the distinctive “O” as part of the year 2012.
Amazingly, these people are such ObamaZombies that they still plan on selling generic crap merchandise supporting Obama even after being sued to stop spreading the wealth around.
And don’t forget the artist that created the “Hope” and “Change” posters was never compensated.
On top of that, I believe you covered the fact that the Obama campaign sought submissions for graphic work with the compensation being a signed copy of the work.
I agree the company should not be selling copyrighted material, but at the same time, it is wrong for Obama to demand that artists donate their work to him.
It is as if he believes people need to work to feed him and his ego, rather than work to feed themselves.
Oh wait…. that is exactly what he believes.
Oh don’t worry, they will be approved once they start paying their fair share in taxes and penalties.
True, it is wrong for people tovuse copyrighted material. It’s just amazing that Mr Hopey Changey refuses to allow others to profit off his own hood fortune.
I realize that this is more than likely a typo, but, seeing as how Obama and his gang were selling hoodies on the whitehouse shop website shortly after the Zimmerman\Martin issue came up… sure strikes closer to truth than typo.
It’s amazing what happens when typing with your thumbs on a smartphone, eh?
