(Washington Examiner) Carney said that the president will be joined by Vice President Joe Biden as well as children who wrote to the president after the Newtown shootings.

I’m sorry, but what child does this? What child, upon hearing of a shooting at a far away school, thinks “I need to WRITE a letter to the President.” ??!?!?!?!?! REALLY!!?!??!
And I’m assuming the president will pay for those transportation costs himself?

Well, if you consider “pay himself” by whipping out the country’s credit card. And don’t forget about all the hotel costs and food.

That’s it. They don’t care. They’ve lost all connection to reality. Their votes have not cost them anything except “feelings”. They’ve been fairly isolated from the repercussions because of all the massive federal welfare spending and the incredible socialist support structure that has been built up over the years since the last Socialism Failure (Great depression). They have spent gazillions of dollars to assure that spending that money again will inoculate the people from harm. They are making their prognostications about what Socialism means come true.
And the eradication of true education in this land means people are too lazy to think and reason for themselves. Why should they when their lives are perfect. heck, they get money back from pappa Obama. they get tons of free stuff. Life is great. And, no one would dare take that FREE stuff away. Why, it’s free after all, right?
If they were to take it away, it means they would want the poor to die.

NRA arguments will be an epic failure, because they are using all of the wrong comparisons.
If they want to use a comparison that will register and make sense to everybody, they should point out the fact that someone is killed, not just injured, but killed by a drunk driver somewhere in this country every 51 minutes. That’s 28 deaths by drunk drivers every single day, 365 days a year every year vs. the anomaly of the one time occurrence of those 26 people killed by a crazed gunman in Connecticut …., and is anybody confiscating booze or restricting the use of booze? No. Because politicians and bleeding hearts and other liberal loonies consume huge quantities of booze, and whenever they hear about a drunk driver, they think, “But for the grace of God, there go I.” Those freaking hypocrites.
In fact, for every gun store, gun show or private individual which sells guns in any given state, most of which do so responsibly, there are probably at least a thousand pubs, taverns, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, airlines, convenience stores and liquor stores which sell booze to anybody of drinking age who wants to buy it, regardless of whether they are law abiding citizens, criminals, sane or insane, smart or dumb – even if they are already conspicuously drunk.
In fact, there is a multimillion dollar industry that promotes the sale and the consumption of booze, even to kids subliminally, also.
My point is that guns don’t kill people. People kill people. And unlike guns, booze kills people, too.
