The poll found a total of 64% of Californians believing global warming is serious enough for action to be taken regarding the situation. 37% of them deemed it serious enough to warrant immediate action. 27% thought some action was necessary. “…more than half the respondents…” is a reference to the 64% who responded by saying action was needed. 37 is more than half of 64. It is not a mathematical error, but an attempt to short-hand the information and scare people. “Warmists” are not stupid, just manipulative. You could have exposed the article for simply being propaganda or manipulative.
